James Adams is a 37-year-old man from Atlanta, Georgia, and he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when he was 22 years old. He has had an interesting relationship with mental health, and he decided to become a counselor in 2009. Throughout his career, he has had many patients with “invisible illnesses”, mental illness, and substance abuse issues.

He wanted to create a blog that would discuss these issues: mental illness, invisible illnesses, and addiction. He wanted to create a resource for people who need to give themselves permission to heal. He wanted to provide helpful information for those who need to seek treatment for their mental health issues or their addiction issues, and he wanted to provide a safe and supportive environment for these types of discussions to be had.

Have a look around the blog to learn more about addiction, mental illness, and invisible illnesses.
