Right, well what's been missing from the protein conversation is acknowledgment of the biochemical relationship. Tonya speaks of the protein she gets from raw foods as being in an "immediately assimilable structure of amino acids" rather than "trapped" in protein bonds. She's still talking about protein, she's just elaborating on the quality of biochemical relationship i.e. the bioavailability of the protein. Free floating amino acids are not assimilable (or they wouldn't be free floating) and are most likely free radicals. Together, I believe we've all hit the point home: processed food is not alive and missing vital nutrients our bodies need, not only to assimilate the food, but to FEEL NOURISHED!

Nice video. It's not true that we are getting free floating amino acids. They are still in protein forms. What's nice is that they're not coagulated or congealed from the heating process.
